Edit a service to update the configuration, add posting rules, or provide missing information. The service must include all required information before you can post it online and start accepting appointment bookings.
- Go to Service management.
- In Active services, select the service to edit.
- In Service details, configure these settings:
- Service name: The name displayed on booking platforms.
- Modes of interaction: The appointment types that are provided. For example, In-person, Virtual, or Telehealth.
- Service types: The types of services the practitioner provides. For example, consultation or diabetes management.
- Specialty: The medical specialty of practitioners who provide the service.
- In Posting rules, configure these settings:
- Patient types: The patients to whom practitioners provide services. A patient type indicates the patient’s clinical attachment status. For example, Unattached, With practitioner, or With provider group.
- Availability audience: The audience that can view and book available time slots for this service. For example, patients or emergency redirection.
- (Optional) Sex assigned at birth: The sex assignment at birth that the patient must have to receive the service.
- (Optional) Age range: The age range that the patient must fall within to receive the service.
- (Optional) Posting period: Select the start and endpoint of the posting period. The posting period defines the period when time slots for this service appear on booking platforms. You can define the start and end of the period in days, weeks, or hours. For example, time slots appear from 2 weeks until 4 hours before the appointment.
- To save your changes, do one of these steps:
- To save your changes without posting, select Save.
- To save and post the service online, select Save and post.
The time slots for the service are available for appointment bookings based on your posting rules.
