Start by importing the list of services from your health record system, and then select the services that your organization tracks and posts for online appointment booking.
Active services are services that you want to configure and post for online appointment booking.
Inactive services are services that your organization does not provide to patients. These services can include administrative tasks or services that you will provide later, after their details are updated in your health record system.
- Go to Service management.
- Select Import services.
The system imports details for the services that are available from your health record system. - Review the information in the dialog, and then select I understand.
- Update the service selections so that the Active services list includes all the services that your organization offers to patients:
- In Active Services, clear the checkbox for any service that should not be tracked or posted online.
- In Inactive Services, select the checkbox for services that your organization tracks and posts for online appointment booking.
- Select Import services.
The system imports details for the selected active services from your health record system.
When the import is complete, configure the active services with any missing information and post them online to activate appointment bookings. You can edit services individually or update multiple services at once with common values, including service types, modes of interaction, and posting rules.
Note: Changes that your health record system makes automatically apply to all of your services.
After you import and configure your initial list of services, you can import new services that are added to your health record system, as needed. For more information, see Process service updates from your health record system.
