As a planner, you can prioritize healthcare professionals for Callouts by using a seniority sequence.
Configuring the sequence ensures that Callouts go out to healthcare professionals based on certain criteria, such as seniority and availability. Sequencing is not automatic.
Once you configure the seniority sequence, the Petal application runs the sequence each time that you initiate the Callout process.
Note: To configure the seniority sequence, make sure to configure the seniority status of healthcare professionals in Members and Teams (in the Access tab).
- In the side menu, select Scheduling

- To the left of your calendar, under Scheduling, select Members and teams.
- Select the Seniority tab. The list of permanent healthcare professionals appears.
- Select Edit.
- Drag and then drop the employees in the preferred order for Callouts.
- In Accepts Callouts, indicate whether the healthcare professional receives Callouts. By default, healthcare professionals receive Callouts.
Note: Healthcare professionals can also manage their Callout participation in their profile settings. - Select Save.
