Use email as a multi-factor authentication (MFA) method to sign in to the Petal platform when you cannot use an authentication app. The Petal platform sends a verification code to your email address. Enter the code to verify your identity.
Your Petal account is associated with the email address that your organization assigned to you.
- On the Welcome page, enter your email address and password and then select Continue.
- If prompted, select the links to review the terms and conditions and the privacy policy. Select the checkboxes to provide consent and then select Continue.
If you are signing in for the first time, on the Set up multi-factor authentication (MFA) page, select Email, and then select Continue.
Note: Petal saves your choice for future sign-ins.
Petal sends an email that contains a verification code. Open your inbox and then locate the Verification code email.
Note: If you cannot find the email in your inbox or junk folder, select Resend to receive another verification code.
- Copy the verification code and then paste it in the Verification code* box on the Verify your identity page.
- Select Sign in.
