Use email as a multi-factor authentication (MFA) method to sign in to the Petal platform when you cannot use other available methods. The Petal platform sends you a verification code by email. Use this code to verify your identity.
Your Petal account is associated with the email address that your organization assigned to you.
For example, you choose email authentication when you cannot install an authentication app.
Log in using your email and password and then select Continue.
Note: (If prompted) Select the links to read the terms and conditions and the privacy policy. Check the boxes to give your consent. Select Continue.
- If you are logging in for the first time, in Set up multi-factor authentication (MFA), select Email and then select Continue. Petal saves your choice for your future logins.
Petal sends you an email with a verification code. Go to your inbox to locate the Verification code email.
Tip: If you cannot find the email in your inbox or junk folder, select Resend to receive another verification code.
- Copy the verification code and then paste it in Verification code*, in Verify your identity page.
- Select Log in.
