The patient has an error message stating that his email is already in use.
One email = one account.
- The email is being used in another clinic and the information is not identical in both clinics.
Solution:
Ask the patient how their name is spelled in their account at the other clinic. Make the correction in the EMR and then synchronize the account in PetalMD. - The email is used on behalf of another person (parent, child, spouse).
Solution:- Ask the patient if they want to keep the account active, if not, set the account to unconfirmed. They can now use their email for their own account. Unconfirm a patient account
