Temporary Replacement User Guide

The newly introduced Temporary Replacement functionality allows for assigning a member to a full shift or part of the shift without changing the responsibility of the shift.

This feature serves  the need for a quick change or last-minute request that could not be addressed by the planners. The members selected for the replacement will be assigned on the shifts as long as the following conditions are met:

  • The replacement is initiated within 72 hours of the beginning of the shift.

  • A user with rights to access and modify the dashboard.

In a situation where a replacement was not found, i.e., no available membres, this feature enables to insert a Temporary Gap that will be displayed in the dashboard.

Every action related to the temporary replacement is recorded in the Replacement Journal.
