When you search for an appointment for a patient, the Find an appointment page displays available time slots that correspond to the search criteria that you used.
The Find an appointment page groups the available time slots by date and by the clinic that provides them. A dot on the corner of a time slot indicates that the patient’s designated care provider offers that time slot.
Use the filters on the right to narrow the available time slots. You can also enter new search criteria and refresh the search results for the same patient.
Filter descriptions
- Search for a clinic: Shows time slots that the clinic you select offer.
- Consultation mode: Shows time slots with consultation modes that the patient prefers, such as In person, Virtual.
- Time of day: Shows time slots available during the time window that the patient prefers.
- Date range: Shows time slots available during the date range that the patient prefers.
- Designated care provider: Shows time slots that the patient’s designated care provider offers. This toggle is only active if the patient has a designated care provider, such as a practitioner or a provider group.
