Submit an absence to your group planner by adding the absence to your calendar.
Web app
- In the side menu, select Calendars
. Your calendar opens.
- Do one of these steps:
- In the top-right corner, select Absences and then select Add absence.
- On a date in the calendar, select + and then select Absence.
The Add absence window opens.
- Enter the date of the absence.
- In Absence category, select the type of absence and the time slot.
- (Optional) In Comment, add additional information about the absence.
- Select Save. Your absence appears in your calendar. Your planner is notified.
Note: You can track your absence requests, view your absence history, remove your absence requests, and see your absence limits in My absences.
Mobile app
- From the bottom menu, tap More
.
- Tap Absence
.
- In the calendar, tap a start and end date for your absence and then tap Next.
- Tap an absence category from that group.
- In Time of day, do one of these steps:
- Tap Entire day.
- Tap a time of day. For example, morning only.
- Tap a shift type and then tap Next. The Summary page appears.
- (Optional) Tap Edit to modify information such as the date, absence category, or time of day.
- (Optional) In Add a comment, enter information.
- Tap Submit. Your absence appears in your calendar. Your planner is notified.
