The Tasks tab enables you to make changes to the standard shift configurations for specific needs. To take effect, all editing must be applied before going further.
To make changes to a shift's base parameters, visit the section: Shifts.
The Information filter will show different information in the cells, such as requirements, units or moments.
Requirements
This Show requirements is the default view. It enables you to see how many physicians are required for a task for the defined time slot. In the following example, the "0..1" value indicates that you need between 0 and 1 physician for that assignment.
Units
This Show unit specifies the unit values of each task for a specific time slot in regards to the equity counters.
Moments
The Show moments filter specifies the actual schedule times in which the tasks must be performed.
Edit
To edit a Task, click on a cell. A menu will appear. Select the Edit option.
A window will open enabling you to edit:
- The times
- the required number of physicians
- and the units.
- You can also add a note for that assignment.
To exit, either Save changes or Cancel.
Batch editing
Select multiple cells by clicking on them while holding down the Shift key. The Edit button will appear in the right column and the specified changes will be applied to the selected cells.
Move
To move a task to another position, click on a cell. A menu will appear. Select the Move option.
You will then be able to select a new date for this task. Dates where a task can be moved to are shown in black.
Split
A block can be split into individual days. This is done when the same resource can't be assigned to all the days of a multi-day block.
To split a block, click on it and select the Split option.
You will then see the following icons in the individual day cells indicating that the block will be split once the changes are saved:
Batch editing
Select multiple blocks by clicking on them while holding down the Shift key. The Split button will appear in the right column and the specified changes will be applied to the selected blocks.
Delete/Close
To delete a task from a specific date, click on the corresponding cell. From the menu, click on the Delete button.
A red minus (-) sign will appear in the cell that you want to delete.
Batch editing
Select multiple cells by clicking on them while holding down the Shift key. The Delete button will appear in the right column and the specified changes will be applied to the cells.
Add/Open
To add a task for a specific date, simply click on the grey plus (+) sign in the corresponding cell. The sign will stay green and the cell will have a solid black border to indicate the added tasks.
