Assign qualifications to a healthcare provider

Qualifications consist of skills and certifications available to healthcare providers at your institution. As a planner, you can assign qualifications to healthcare providers.

Certifications are official credentials that provinces or other governing entities issue. Certifications are predefined. You cannot modify them.

Skills are attributes that you define based on your operational needs. You can define the names of the skills.

1. In the side menu, select Scheduling .
2. Select Professional qualifications. The Qualification assignment page appears.
3. Next to a healthcare provider, select Edit .
4. Select Assign qualifications.
5. In Assign qualifications to, select the certifications and skills to assign to this healthcare provider. 
6. Add an expiration date, if applicable.
7. Select Save.

Note: To edit qualifications for a healthcare provider, select Edit .
