Configure your notification settings to stay informed about scheduling activities, such as absence requests, shift changes, transfers, or trades. Receive notifications by email or as alerts in the mobile app.
You can also view notifications under Notifications in your profile.
Note: Planners automatically receive notifications for their group members' activities. Administrators who are not planners can also receive group notifications. Contact Petal technical support for customized notification options.
Web
- From the side menu, access your profile by selecting your initials (or picture).
- In My profile, select Notification preferences.
- To edit your email notification preferences, select Change email notification.
- Configure these settings:
- Web notifications: Get notified when you receive a new message.
- Messages from colleagues: Receive notifications from colleagues. Choose to receive notifications for all messages or urgent mentions.
- Hospital communication: Receive notifications from the hospital. Choose to receive notifications for all messages or urgent mentions.
- Send email notifications: Receive an email notification for urgent messages that remain unread after the time you specify.
- From the side menu, access your profile by selecting your initials (or picture).
- In My profile, select Notification preferences.
- Under Scheduling, select the events for which you want to receive notifications and choose how you want to be notified.
- In Weekly digest, choose if you want to receive a weekly summary of your upcoming schedule.
