Use calendar synchronization to view your Petal calendar events on a third-party calendar such as an Apple calendar, Outlook calendar, or Google calendar. For example, you can synchronize your Petal calendar with the iCloud calendar to see calendar events on a Mac, iPhone, or iPad.

Calendar synchronization ensures that any changes that you make to your Petal calendar appear in all the devices.

The steps to synchronize your Petal calendar with a third-party calendar differ depending on the device and the mobile operating system. For more information on how to synchronize your Petal calendar with a third-party calendar, consult the user documentation for your device.

Web application

1. In the side menu, select Calendar .
2. In My calendar, in the top right corner, select Share your calendar .
3. In Share your calendar, configure these synchronization settings:
   • Cut off at midnight work schedule events, that in fact, end the next morning: Hide events that extend to the next day. This option is useful if you work the night shift and want to declutter your calendar.
   • Synchronize my absences: Display absences in your third-party calendar.
     
     Important: Once you configure these settings (and close the Share your calendar window), you can no longer modify them. Ensure that your configuration settings reflect your needs.
4. To synchronize your Petal calendar with a third-party calendar, do one of these steps:
   • Select Apple calendar. In Show Password, select Copy to save the generated password to the clipboard. Under The server address is, select Copy to save the server address to your clipboard.
     You need both the password and server address to complete the synchronization process.
   • Select Google agenda and then select Copy to save the calendar address to your clipboard. Use this address to complete the synchronization process.
   • Select Microsoft Outlook and then select Copy to save the server address to your clipboard. Use this address to complete the synchronization process.
   • Select Other platforms and then select Copy to save the calendar address to your clipboard. Use this address to complete the synchronization process.
5. Select Close.
6. Follow the user documentation for your device to complete the synchronization process.

Note: To stop calendar synchronization across your Apple devices, select Show Password and then select Reset password.

Mobile application

These steps describe how to synchronize the Petal calendar with an iOS device.

For Android devices, synchronize your calendar by using the Petal application on your computer.

1. In the menu at the bottom, tap Agenda .
2. In My calendar, in the right corner, tap .
3. Tap Synchronize .
4. Under Show Password, tap Copy to save the generated password to your clipboard.
5. Under The server Address is, tap Copy to save the server address to your clipboard
6. On your device, go to Settings.
7. In the Apps tab, select Calendar.
8. To set up the CalDAV calendar account, paste the generated password and server address and then follow the steps on screen.

Note: To stop calendar synchronization across your Apple devices, tap Show Password and then tap Reset password.
