Upload a document

Petal platform integration
Enhancement—DocuMed is now integrated with the Petal platform. Users can seamlessly access the application from both Orca and Petal, providing a more unified experience across platforms.
Multitenancy support
Enhancement—The Petal platform now fully supports multitenancy, enabling scalable tenant management and improved support for organizations with multiple user groups or environments.

Custom fields
New feature—You can now use custom fields to supplement the standard fields that appear in the Teams and Members section. Use custom fields to capture additional information about members, such as hospital employment numbers, contract numbers, and date of birth. By default, a set of default custom fields is available, but you can also create your own. About custom fields
Permissions for group calendars and absences

Indicate priority for future Callouts
New feature—You can now indicate whether responses to a Callout determine priority for future Callouts by selecting the Use responses from this Callout option when configuring a Callout profile. By default, this new option is turned on. Create a Callout profile
Automated Callouts
New feature—You can send notifications for Callouts by email or by text message and record responses automatically. Create a Callout profile
Skills and certifications
New feature—You can now assign certifications and skills to healthcare providers. You can ensure that healthcare providers have the required certifications and skills to work a shift.
Certifications are predefined, official credentials that provinces or other governing entities issue. You cannot modify them. Skills, on the other hand, are attributes that you define based on your operational needs. Assign qualifications to a healthcare provider
Petal mobile app
Biometrics
New feature —You can now use Face ID or Touch ID to sign in to your Petal account on your mobile device. Biometrics offer enhanced security and convenience. Turn on biometric authentication
Over-The-Air (OTA) updates
New feature—The Petal mobile app now supports OTA updates for bug fixes. Now, small updates occur via Wi-Fi or the cellular network.
Update account information
