iOS Synchronization Alternatives

Calendar

Goal

iPhones currently do not correctly handle ICS files.  Consequently, this tutorial proposes a temporary solution that will allow you to synchronize your Petal Calendar with your iPhone calendar through a third-party account (Microsoft, Yahoo) or through iCloud configured from an apple computer.

Preparation

Third-party account synchronization with iPhone:

  1. From the iPhone, add a third-party account synchronization (if it's not added already) by going to: Settings > Calendar > Accounts > Add account.
  2. Click on the desired provider and fill in the login and password. image-20220902-143210__1_.png
