How can I use the Petal for Physicians app and the new Petal app at the same time?
For now, you will need to use both the Petal for Physicians app and the new Petal app, depending on the features that you want to access. At this time, you must use the Petal for Physicians app to:
- Receive notifications for shift changes
- Edit your profile
- Initiate a new shift change
- Access the Marketplace
- Create events
- Add absences
- Edit shifts from the app
How come I do not have access to the new messaging in the new Petal app?
You must sign up to be a part of the Mobile Beta program to access the new messaging. Use this link to sign up for the program or contact your customer success representative.
Can I use archived messaging and new messaging at the same time?
When you activate the new messaging system, the archived messaging system is available with read-only access. Although you can see past conversations, you cannot send new messages. During the beta phase, both the archived messaging and the new messaging systems are available. Archived messaging is only available on the Web app. The new messaging system is available on the mobile app and the Web app.
Are my conversations from the archived messaging system going to appear in the new messaging system?
In the Web application, past conversations from the archived messaging appear in a separate tab, but with read-only access.
In the mobile application, past conversations from the archived messaging do not appear in the new messaging system.
