Creating a layout for the Console – Help center

To create a new Console layout, modify or delete existing ones, follow the steps below:

The Console lets you consolidate the display of On-call schedules and medical services into a single view.

To meet the specific needs of your institution, the Layout management function allows to configure a customized view of the Console.

Prerequisites

The user you are logged in with needs the Layout management permissions to modify the Console layouts.

Steps

1. From your left menu bar, click on Hospital dashboards, then click on the Layout tab

2. From the Layout tab, you can consult the list of active and inactive layouts for the selected console

3. Click on Create a layout.

4. The New layout window opens.

5. In the Layout details window, enter information in the fields below:

Field	Description
Layout name	Name to be displayed in the Layout list (max. 40 characters).
Sequence	Defines the display order in the Layout selection drop-down menu.
Layout visibility	Makes this layout available to all users who have access to the Console.
Public access to the layout	Makes this layout available in the public Console.

6. Once you have filled in the fields, click Continue to proceed to Line Selection.

7. From this window, select the groups that need to be included in the layout being created. The Search field can be used to quickly find a particular group.

(i) It is possible to select certain shifts from a group if they are not all required.

8. Finally, click Create layout.

The new layout will be saved
